Istanbul Grill Restaurant

We went to this gem as a group and the food was 10/10 with a really nice friendly service. The cocktails were all presented beautifully and very tasty. It was also very reasonably priced for such quality, thank you!

A perfect restaurant for special occasions. The filet mignon was cooked exactly as ordered, tender and flavorful. The red wine paired beautifully, and the staff’s attention to detail made us feel truly valued.

What a wonderful experience. Had 6 of us for a family dinner. The owners hospitality was fantastic, he was honest about portion not wanting us to overspend. I think this is a new fave local that we will definitely be coming back to. We ordered the platter and got a free bottle of wine with it. Great value for money. Would definitely recommend.

The staff were quite friendly and helpful. They greeted us as we entered the establishment and saw us out after we had finished. There was 1 person who did the order taking and brought out the food. Considering that staff member was the only one I saw actively attending to tables, there were about 6 tables seating 4-6 people per table, there were some parts of the order that came a bit later on like a side and an extra portion of bread but at least they were not forgotten about. Generally I find that the prices at this establishment are similar to prices for dishes at other restaurants serving the same type food. One thing I like about this restaurant is that they did not charge anything extra for an extra portion of bread. We were served 3 baskets of bread and 3 little cups of both sauces for our party of 6. We were also given 3 salad bowls which replaced the little salad normally found at the side of the mains dishes. I was quite surprised at the portion size of the 2 sides we ordered (chips and grilled mushrooms). They may look expensive on the menu but the quantity you get for the price is pretty good considering it is a restaurant. The food was of good quality with both the lamb and chicken being tender (I had a mixed grill). From another member of my party I heard that the salmon and prawn cocktail has been come of the best he has tried. Would definitely visit again

My favourite resturant in Hornchurch. Well worth visiting. We love the platters which are great value for money.

VISIT DATE: WED 28/08/2024 VISIT TIME: 17:35 Despite living in Elm Park since 2002, I'd never eaten at Istanbul Grill, either as a takeaway or in person before this visit and, having now enjoyed their food, I will not be leaving it so long before I go back. On arrival, my friend and I were given a warm welcome and were well attended by the lady serving, though not made to feel rushed in any way. We were given bread which had a coating of paprika and something else, which was absolutely delicious (I could have eaten baskets and baskets of it) and I then had lamb beyti for my main, which was nicely presented and accompanied with rice, bulgar wheat, salad and sour cream sauce. It was tasty and the portions were sufficient. My friend was also very happy with their meal and enjoyed a pineapple and lemonade to drink, whilst I just had tap water. The food was very filling, so we didn't have anything for dessert, but they do have options available. As it was a warm day, we ate outside.

A lovely little business in Elm Park! Came here for a family meal and it was really lovely. The guy who served us was kind and the food was really good. We ordered a mixed cold starter, calamari, mixed kebab, lamb ribs and baklava. The complimentary bread is arguably the best thing I’ve ever eaten! We will definitely return. My only criticism is that the ribs needed slightly more seasoning and the restaurant should play some more authentic music

Experienced a wonderful evening at Istanbul Grill. Food was delicious & such great value and there was so much of it. Service was attentive. Highly recommend & will be visiting again. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
